HIGH SCHOOL OF DUNDEE, ESTATE MANAGEMENT
Wellwood Leslie Architects have acted on behalf of the directors of the High School of Dundee to provide architectural services for a period of time in excess of 20 years.
In that time, assistance has been provided with both new build and refurbishment projects across the estate. Most recently, the school’s new Physical Education Facility has opened at the Mayfield Sports Ground to provide the highest standard of accommodation for sports, dance and ex¬ercise as part of the school curriculum.
Work carried out on the estate in Dundee City Centre includes extensive work on listed buildings. The Boys School Building, adjacent Margaret Harris Building, Meadowside Halls and Bonar House are all listed buildings set within a conservation area. Projects have been completed in all of these buildings to maintain their condition and to enhance their ability to accommodate modern functions in a sympathetic yet innovative manner.
