Royal & Ancient Clubhouse Refurbishment

Wellwood Leslie have worked closely with the R&A since 2000 to refurbish and remodel their Grade A listed Clubhouse which famously sits overlooking the first tee of the Old Course in St Andrews.

The initial engagement was to consider the development of members locker room facilities in the basement of the building but developed to include the extensive refurbishment of building including the installation of fire safety measures and replacement of mechanical and electrical services. Initial construction phase was completed in 2002.

Since completion of the initial phase of works, Wellwood Leslie have continued to care for the building and have carried out a comprehensive refurbishment of the kitchen, refurbishment of roof and stonework and incorporation of modern ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
