Change of Trading Name to Wellwood Leslie Architects

In January, 2017, Wellwood Leslie LLP became the majority shareholder in McLean Architects Ltd following the retiral of Don McLean. Wellwood Leslie worked with the remaining directors, Janet Cameron and Craig Govan. As of 30 June, 2019, following completion of the transition in ownership and integration with the business of Wellwood Leslie, agreement was reached with Janet and Craig to facilitate their departure from the company.

As of 30 June, McLean Architects Ltd. will continue to trade but will adopt the trading name of Wellwood Leslie Architects. This change in trading name will have no effect on existing contracts which have been entered into with McLean Architects Ltd. which remains the trading entity.

Wellwood Leslie LLP is an architectural practice based in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. The current partners have been trading together since 2007 having been employees for over 25 years. The Wellwood Leslie Group comprises Wellwood Leslie Architects, Verj+id and CSP Acoustics. The group of companies operates from offices in Broughty Ferry and Glasgow serving our clients across the length and breadth of the country.

Wellwood Leslie LLP comprises two partners, Neil Simpson, who is also managing director of Wellwood Leslie Architects and Brian Smith who is responsible for the operations of CSP Acoustics. Neil and Brian are assisted in the Glasgow Office by Keith Miller, Head of Operations and Graham Stuart, Business Development Director. Both Keith and Graham bring a wealth of experience in the Glasgow construction community to the company.

Wellwood Leslie aims to continue its steady growth over the coming years by maintaining the high standards of service for which both it and McLean Architects are known.
