Montrose House

Montrose House is a 30-bedroom residential care home for the elderly with sensory landscaped gardens, a community resource center and off-road car parking. It is constructed in high quality, low maintenance materials, selected for durability and to minimise the need for ongoing maintenance. Eaves are cropped and verges are flush reflecting the style of the traditional island properties. Service accommodation is arranged along the main axis of the site with the bedroom wings and the resources center set at right angles to the spine forming small, south westerly facing courtyard gardens. All bedrooms and social spaces have direct access to the private gardens. The entrance and reception area is on the opposite side of the building to maintain privacy for the residents.
