Formerly occupied by the Mid Craigie Primary School and playing fields – the school was demolished in 2008.

The proposal for this site provided a total of 42 new houses which comprise of 12 houses for sale through Cruden Homes and a mix of 30 houses and cottage flats for the affordable rental sector which are be managed by Angus Housing Association. The 12 houses are 4 apartments/ 5-person two storey semi-detached located along Pitairlie Road and Craigielea Terrace.

The development included also 2 no 4 in a block cottage flat which have their own private front doors.

The 30 affordable housing units range in size from 3 apartment/3-person cottage style four in a block flat through to 5 apartments/7-person semi-detached houses. Moreover there are a 7 apartments/8 person detached houses which has been designed in conjunction with Dundee City Council to house a family they have identified with specific needs.
