Flatted Development
Design proposals for a coastal flatted development to infill a vacant brownfield site near the edge of Troon’s Conservation Area.
The brief called for a contemporary design that would unlock the site’s full potential - balancing the brownfield site remediation costs and the challenges posed by its irregular shape and proximity to the railway.
The proposal includes 13 two-bedroom and 2 one-bedroom flats, each featuring private balconies carefully oriented to capture views of the Firth of Clyde. All units benefit from elevator access, dedicated private parking, and a landscaping strategy of meaningful pocket gardens at ground level.
