Green Power International is an Alloa based energy provider operating wind farms across sites in central and northwest Scotland. As part of its growth strategy, GreenPower is progressing the development of hydrogen production and storage facilities located to make use of excess energy from its wind farms and to serve local transport and industrial markets.

Its facility at Oban in Argyll is located to serve local bus and haulage markets and may in future serve local ferry and railway operations.
